The Kent Knights Youth Sports Association (KKYSA) now offers “No Off Season” Spring 7 on 7 Football Leagues!  Now devoted athletes can continue to enhance their skills and become a better player in the off season. High energy excitement and competition is a trademark of 7 on 7 football. This fast paced, speed sensitive passing league will get athletes in great shape while having a blast.  7 on 7 football has become the approved and encouraged activity in the off-season across the United States. Organized by most of the junior football programs in our area the mission is to provide the structure for football players of all ages whereby they can develop their skills and compete in the off-season at organized local  events.

In addition to the 7 on 7 skilled positions league we will also be offering a 5 on 5 lineman’s league as well.

7 on 7 Passing League Guidelines: The 7 on 7 Passing League is a fun competitive, non-contact way to play football. It is all passing and allows scoring both on the offense and defense. Passing is now the feature offense, and thus defense, of most teams. Passing and catching take a great deal of practice to master. Participating in 7 on 7 offers athletes an exceptional, competitive way to hone their skills.

2019 Kent Knights Football & Cheer

Happy New Year!  Please check back soon for the 2019 Kent Knights football and cheerleading registration prices and link to sign up!

The registration fee is minimal compared to other youth football programs in south king county.

As a board, it is important to us that the fees remain reasonable for parents.  With that, all parents are required to participant in fundraisers since the registration fees alone do not take care of the operational costs in running a franchise of our size.  More information will be sent about fundraisers to all parents that are signed up.

Helpful details for the season are:

Practices: Monday - Friday during the summer months, once school starts, practices will be Tuesday-Thursday same time/location.  Exact details to be provided later in the spring of 2019.

Games: The league will provide our game schedule in late August. Games are mostly played on Saturdays while there could be a few Sunday games. More information regarding games will be discussed at the parent meeting and emailed.

Registration Fee includes:

  • Football use of equipment for the season: helmet, shoulder pads, pants,  game day jersey,  1 pair of socks and 1 mouth guard). Additional socks and mouth guard can be purchased if needed.  All items except for socks and mouth guard must be returned at the last game the player plays in.
  • Cheer use of equipment for the season: top, skirt, poms. Additional items will need to be purchased and the cheer coaches will communicate more information to parents.
  • All registration fees help go towards the operational expenses included in running a youth football and cheer program.
